Inprint hosts acclaimed Filipina author Erin Entrada Kelly on April 10 2022 (Free Event)

Inprint is very excited to present our first in-person Cool Brains! reading in over two years, featuring acclaimed Filipina author and Newbery Medalist Erin Entrada Kelly. This free event will take place on Sunday, April 10, 3 pm at Meyerland PVA Middle School in downtown Houston.

As you may know, Erin is a big favorite among young readers. Her books include the 2018 Newbery Medal winner Hello, Universe, the 2021 Newbery Honor winner We Dream of Space, as well as The Land of Forgotten Girls, Blackbird Fly, and the Maybe Maybe Marisol Rainey series. She joins us to share her new middle-grade novel Those Kids from Fawn Creek, a sweet story set in small-town Louisiana that explores themes of family, friendship, and staying true to yourself.

The program will include a brief presentation, an audience Q&A, and a book signing. Inprint will provide free signed books to the first 100 families to arrive and the Inprint Poetry Buskers will be writing free personalized poems in honor of National Poetry Month.
