EVENTSpotlight  A Look Back - Our 15th Anniversary

We can't believe that 5 years has flown by, and we're now celebrating our 20th Anniversary. In 2007, APAHA celebrated its 15 year anniversary with the Gala Theme  "Lighting the Past, Present, And Future at the Westin Oaks, Galleria. APAHA celebrated 15 years of service to the City of Houston and honored Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta for his major contribution to the celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.

The 15th Anniversary Gala benefitted APAHA's education and awareness initiatives, including the APAHA Endowment at the UH Asian American Studies Center, Rooted Voices: an Oral History of Our Culture & Heritage Project with area colleges, and the APAHA Organizational Mentorship Initiative with local Asia Clubs in HISD.
